With a little effort some of these tactics can boost your business
and make you big money. Others may require a lot more time and effort. And some
will just not work for you. Which is which? Today, marketing has become a confusing
maze of tactics and strategies with all sorts of claims being made about each
one.
It's like you
need a roadmap and a guide to show you the way
to point you in a profitable
direction and tell you when you're getting off-course. Someone who knows how
to use new (as well as traditional) marketing tools and make them work for your
advantage.
Well, you can
have the roadmap and the guide, and have the work done for you. . .
Whether you're
a division of a larger company, a small business, or a service professional,
I have marketing solutions tailored for your needs that can cut through all
the confusion and boost your profits.
But before
telling you about these solutions, let me tell you a bit about why you might
want to listen to me:
|
I have over
over 25 years of experience creating highly successful campaigns for companies
such as IBM, Time Magazine, Johnson&Johnson, Novartis, Merrill Lynch,
Citibank, thestreet.com, alibris.com, quote.com, shipwire.com, and ishares.com.
I've been
a copywriter and creative director at some of the top ad agencies in the
world, headed up PR for a growing Internet company
headed up marketing
communications for a highly succesful magazine launch and helped grow
it into the largest trade magazine.
Along the way I've also helped many small businesses and professionals,
and in the past 10 years built my own successful Internet businesses.
|
In my experience,
I have found that there are two ways to best help businesses that can't or don't
want to hire an ad agencies and PR agencies costing them hundreds of thousands
of dollarsand more, but want that level of expertise. These are the two ways
I've found that help businesses the most, and the appriximate fees I charge
for them
1) Help with overall strategy and direction
(includes marketing review and 1 to 1 phone consultation) |
Here's how this works: I send you a brief questionnaire asking about your
objectives, your target audience, your product or services and your competition.
I ask you to send over relevant urls and some of your recent marketing materials.
I review your website and your marketing. I then develop suggestions,
critiques, and recommenations. I deliver my review and report to you in
a 1-to-1 consultation over the phone while we are both looking at your
website and marketing materials.
How much does this cost? Let's compare. What would his level of strategy
and expertise delivered through an ad agency or Pr agency?. You couldn't
get in the door for less than $10,000 monthly retainer and a commitment
anywhere from a 6 months to a year.
My fee: $400 to for a review
and to come up with recommendations.
Then $250 for an hour phone consultation to go over it. If you'd like
to continue with consultation sessions, it will be $250 per hour. No long-term
commitment necessary.

Create initial campaign
-depending on your needs this could actually be a group of campaigns,
for example: Country-wide; geographically targeted/local; or placement
targeted. Making these into separate campaigns is much more effective
than using one Adwords campaign to drive traffic.
Typical campaign
-Generally at least 600+ keywords, 20 - 40+ adgroups. Always 2 ads to
test per adgroup, so 40 - 80+ ads.
Plus suggestions for key landing pages topics and copy.
Typical fee for campaign - $2,000 or more depending on extent of the
campaign.
Monthly Revisions
Includes testing, tracking, refining campaign. recommended minimum: 2
hours per month - $500
Public relations: online or off
-PR Plan (Map out press release strategy) $250- $500
-Write targeted press releases (2 per month, 3 month minimum)
$500 per release (online press releases revised for offline campaigns,
and vice versa - free of charge)
Copywriting, and if needed, creative direction
While copy fees need to be estimated on a case by case basis, here is
some general guidance on my fees.
-Online Sales pages/landing pages/ (first screen the headline, concept/hook
and the research that goes into it) $2,000. Then $800 for each subsequent
page.

Social marketing
I take the confusion out of social marketing. Out of all the social marketing
possibilities I've narrowed it down to select few tools, and developed
a system so it all works together, multiplying the effect for you.
The system involves using the the most effective social networks, such
as facebook and linkedin, some of the better 2.0 properties, like Squidoo
and Hubpages; wordpress blogs, select bookmarking sites like Digg and
StumbleUpon, and judicious use of videos and audios.
I develop a plan for you using parts of the system that are right for
you. To find out more about this social media systems, contact me.
